Virgin Atlantic recently enlisted the help of acclaimed illusionist “DMC” (full name Drummond Money-Coutts), to demonstrate the breadth of destinations it flies to in the USA thanks to its joint venture with Delta Air Lines.
The magician arrived in London in a classic red Cadillac together with some of Virgin Atlantic’s cabin crew. From Fort Myers to Fort Worth, Arkansas to Albuquerque and Denver to Daytona, DMC challenged individuals to pick a destination from the airline’s US route network at random. He then challenged them to send him the US city through the power of telepathy, and if able to, they would win flights to the destination (see video below showing the shocked and emotional reactions to the trick performed by DMC, including a group of women brought to tears with a trip of a lifetime to Portland, Oregon)
