Private member’s club The Brompton Club is opening doors to the public for the first time ever. New York’s The Lion will take up residence for two months, with renowned chef John DeLucie running the show in the kitchen.
DeLucie, also the founder of the legendary Waverly Inn and partner Sean Largotta have put The Lion on the map of fine dining of New York and a made it a favourite among the A-listers. DeLucie is not just famous for his Italian-American take on classic cuisine, but for being a permanent fixture in fashion and lifestyle media, with celebrity fans following wherever his brings out his pots and pans.
Expect the DeLucie signature dishes from global fusion (Yellowfin Tuna Tartare with Dijon Emulsion and Avocado) to old Continental-American favourites Chicken Pot Pie with Baby Vegetables and Mac and Cheese with Truffles. Don’t forget to try the famous Lion Burger Special Blend – a mouthwatering burger featuring Pork Belly, Provolone, Smoked Cheddar, Caramelized Onion and Tomato.
A Nick House venture, The Brompton Club is as flashy and glamorous as all his other haunts in London. Consisting of a dining area and club, plus two bar areas, the otherwise member’s-only club presents a rare opportunity for the regular visitor to take a peek at the club, not to mention trying chef DeLucie’s mouthwatering dishes!
