The Hoxton, Holborn is now open on High Holborn, the second hotel in the series. Just a few minutes’ walk away from Holborn Underground Station, the hotel has 174 rooms, a Brooklyn-style grill, Chicken Shop (less Chicken Cottage, more free-range rotisserie), coffee shop and Cheeky salon.
Guests can snuggle up to puffy duck-down duvets, take a stroll in the walk-in en-suite showers and enjoy a new range of Pen and Ink smellies exclusive to the hotel. Plus, after a great night’s sleep, every guest can take advantage of the complimentary healthy breakfast bags, filled over night with a granola yoghurt, banana and OJ.
Emulating the successful formula of the original Hoxton, the public spaces are run in partnership with The Soho House group. Food wise the new hotel features a Brooklyn-style grill named Hubbard & Bell in the conservatory space, whilst in the basement the laid back Chicken Shop dishes out rotisserie chicken. On the ground floor Holborn Grind, run by Grind &Co, will create creamy cappuccinos and espresso martinis for the masses.
If you fancy a bit of pampering, there’s also a Cheeky salon in residence on the ground floor, where guests can indulge in a manicure from one of the skilled technicians or stock up their beauty bags with a selection of products.
The Hoxton, Holborn will adhere to the brands “no rip-off” policy with free WiFi throughout, one hour of free phone calls to landlines (and US mobiles) in the UK, USA, Australia and most of Europe as well as a supermarket-priced lobby shop for everything from sweets to champagne, with fresh milk and mineral water totally free.
Room rates are priced from £69 – £269
