Being a fan of all health optimising establishments, I’ve been a long-term fan of The Detox Kitchen. I love nothing more than to dunk their vegan savoury muffins into a hearty warm power green vegan soup! Clearly, I’m not the only fan, the brand has progressively expanded, launching a grab and go deli range and most recently opening their second home in the fashionable Fitzrovia. Food entrepreneur Lily Simpson, founder of The Detox Kitchen has been a busy bee indeed!
The new Fitzrovia deli and fitness studio is more than four times the size of it’s predecessors, it’s main addition being a new basement fitness studio, home to a range of pilates, yoga and other wellbeing workshops and classes! The design is bright, modern and homely with a lively green plants and shrubs cascading down the wall.
The menu embodies fresh seasonal produce paired with detoxifying ingredients, enjoy their salad bar, juices, smoothies and warm daily specials. Their breakfast looked especially tempting! Vegans, celiacs and wheat free enthusiasts are like honey to bee’s because the kitchen offer a vast and almost entirely free from wheat, dairy and refined sugar menu. Make sure you try the beetroot and chocolate brownie.
