Louise Roe, MTV presenter and Glamour Magazine (US) Editor at Large, is one of UK’s most beloved fashion stars. She hosts her own TV show, Plain Jane, and has recently launched a jewellery and accessories range for Stylist.Pick.
If you missed the MTV music video awards in November, Louise hosted the red carpet event, sporting a gorgeous metallic Markus Lupfer dress – inspired by a shoot I styled her for recently!
That’s right – I caught up with Louise, where she modelled in a shoot I styled for this season’s issue of FAULT magazine. Channelling Brigit Bardot, Louise was a natural model, gracing the retro interiors of creative member’s club, Apartment 58.
The shoot received such rave reviews, especially by Louise herself – who said it was her ‘BEST SHOOT EVER!!!’ I thought I’d share the style inspiration with you, our insiders. The key to making our retro lady-like look more modern was to add a touch of metallic glam. Here chime in Markus Lupfer and MW Matthew Williamson. I knew Louise was also a fan of killer heels – Louboutin – look no further! And colourful prints, for which my designer of choice, was Emma Cook.
