Bikes, beats and beers – what more do you want? The festival of cycling Spin is coming back to East London this month (May 20-22), for a celebration of everything that makes our urban cycling scene so good.
It’s returning to The Old Truman Brewery, Shoreditch, in a showcase of cycling inventions & innovation, cycling fashion, and the latest in design. In total, it will host more than 100 exhibitors from around the world and will be part of a discussion into the past, present and future of cycling.
Several new features for 2016 include a programme of live music, an art hub and illustartion workshops. A real fusion of cycling and ceativitiy.
Show highlights include The Frame Lab, which will feature some of the best in the business showing off welding techniques, brazing and breaking down the bike making process. There’s even a chance for visitors to design their own custom bike. The Art Hub will feature the UK’s finest cycling artists, leading workshop sessions. The In The Frame sessions will feature showcase breathtaking bike restorations from the brilliant SE London Cole Coatings team.
Craft beer bars, DJs, street food and gourmet coffee will all fuel a festival atmosphere through the weekend as cyclists of all kinds discover the latest products and trends.
