Glacéau vitaminwater, the original, enhanced drink, is launching #shinebright, giving emerging talent unrivalled opportunities to work with some of the biggest names in the creative industries, as part of a long-term, global commitment to help young creative talent.
Shinebright will be kick-started by six leading cultural entrepreneurs from fashion, music, design and media. These cultural entrepreneurs from across Europe will mentor and support aspiring creatives in a series of exciting projects, all geared towards giving them a step up the creative industry ladder.
World-renowned fashion blogger Susie Lau (of Style Bubble fame) and Mikey Trapstar (founder of legendary urban streetwear labelTrapstar) will be amongst the first wave of cultural entrepreneurs mentoring aspiring creatives. Susie will be offering 1-2-1 mentoring and the chance to work with her at London Fashion Week. Mikey is offering young designers the chance to showcase their designs in a fashion pop-up store in London, offering them the inside track on launching their own fashion brand. Other opportunities include the chance to work in a studio alongside musician / architect / designer Jenny Grettve in Sweden and a photography session capturing the streets of Paris during a 1-2-1 photography workshop with Theo Gosselin.
Susie said, “I’m looking for someone with loads of energy, who sees fashion from an analytical and artistic point of view. I can’t wait to see this come through in the Shinebright entries. London Fashion Week is an amazing opportunity if you’ve never experienced it before.”
Mikey said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to give back to the community and give up and coming talent the platform for exposure that I got when I started out. I’m really excited to collaborate with fresh new designers to help them get to the next level.”
