London’s largest celebrity jumble sale is back for its fifth year and will take place this Saturday 14th May (it’s home for the past three years: East London’s iconic venue Oval Space, E2). As ever the brains behind the Jumble are a combination of The Music Circle, which is now celebrating registered charity status, Radio 1’s Gemma Cairney and TV personality Dawn O’Porter.
We love it when people and companies come together to support a good cause and this is great cause. For the second year running, all proceeds from Rumble in the Jumble will go towards Oxfam’s efforts to establish greater gender equality in Myanmar. Oxfam’s projects aim to increase women’s political representation and bring about sustainable societal change through raising awareness and advising on policies to improve the standing of women so they can be accepted into positions of authority and respected in decision-making roles.
