Sakura season has exploded on the roof of Roka’s booming and trendy basement hangout, Shochu Lounge. Sakura means cherry blossom in Japanese. The blossom season is famously enjoyed with Sake parties under bright floral Sakura trees from March-May.
In honour of this custom, Suntory Japanese Whisky have curated their own Sakura season with a fully-immersive cherry blossom installation and a Sakura-inspired cocktail menu.
Visit Shochu this May to experience sitting underneath the canopies of blossom while you sip on their exclusive Hibiki Japanese cocktails such as Suntory Blossom, a short concoction of Hibiki Japanese Harmony, ume sake, blood orange and Sakura tincture. Hamish Brown, ROKA Group Executive Chef, has also created especially for the occasion the small plate, Hokkaido snow crab with tapioca crisp and nori, to pair with the Match a Rack cocktail.
