Venetian eatery, Polpo, recently launched a weekend brunch offering at their Notting Hill restaurant. The dishes are inspired by Polpo’s Venetian heritage and offer a great selection for vegetarians and meat eaters alike.
Expect brunch classics like eggs benedict, florentine and royale. There are an assortment of pastries and granola pots available too.
Or you can be a little more adventurous with one of the Venetian twists. The brunch pizzetta is a winner; topped with prosciutto, mushrooms, parmesan and a soft egg and the traditional Italian stew, Scafata, topped with runny poached eggs acts as a great side dish.
Cocktails include breakfast bellinis, Bloody/Virgin Mary’s, and a selection of teas and coffees are available too.
The Notting Hill restaurant is one of Polpo’s larger outposts with plenty of room for big tables to host family, friends or otherwise. The decor is bright, boasting a rouge and mustard seventies-inspired colour scheme. The sun beams through tall windows and bounces off the wooden floors.
Polpo Notting Hill will be serving brunch from 10am to 12.30pm on Saturday’s and Sunday’s. To book a table, you can visit their website here.
