Covent Garden has returned to its historic past as Westminster Abbey’s original orchard garden this summer with an array floral activities in and around the iconic Piazza including a brand partnerships with Nyetimber English sparkling wine.
Covent Garden was reimagined as a stunning Show Garden at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. Created by designer Lee Bestall, and themed around 500 Years of Covent Garden, guests have since been immersing themselves in an urban oasis and enjoying a number of special events in and around the area.
As fans of fizz we’d been eyeing the Nyetimber offering up for weeks now but unfortunately weren’t able to get there sooner. Still, better late than never and it did not disappoint! It’s been open since June 1st and is set to close on July 2nd so fans have one week left to check out The Nyetimber Garden Bar. With the spell of sunshine we have recently been blessed with, it’s the ideal place to relax and enjoy the Great British summer with a perfectly chilled glass of the finest English sparkling wine; plus we’re told there’s a series of culinary collaborations including the world-famous Balthazar brunch and afternoon tea; dinner with Britain’s top chefs and pre-theatre bites by Aubaine.
Get in whilst you still can – it’s well worth it!
