We are in the thick of Negroni Week and VII Hills Italian Dry Gin have collaborated with seven of London’s best bars, including the Holborn Dining Room, Galvin at Windows and the Four Seasons Hotel in London’s Ten Trinity Square where each bar is serving the Italian Negroni using VII Hills Gin.
To help you plot your tasting pleasures across London this weekend, VII Hills Gin have created a Negroni map showing the delectable drinking dens where you can enjoy Italy’s most famous cocktail.
Until Sunday 10th June, Galvin at Windows, Holborn Dining Room, the Cocktail Trading Company, Clarendon Cocktail Cellar, The Artist Residence, Goat in Chelsea, Four Seasons Hotel London at Ten Trinity Square and The Italian Job in Notting Hill will all be serving the VII Hills Perfect Negroni. And what makes the perfect Negroni? We asked the same question; it’s made using VII Hills Gin, campari and cocchi vermouth di torino served in a glass garnished with celery, a grapefruit wedge and thyme.
We fervently made our way to The Four Seasons Ten Trinity Square Rotunda Bar to taste VII Hills special variation of the classic, ‘The 20’s Negroni’, eloquently accompanied by delicious aperitivo – just as a Negroni should be – all to the relaxing sounds of Etta James.
The Negroni encapsulates the flavours of the seven botanicals used to distil the gin, which are taken from the seven hills on which, according to legend, ancient Rome was built.
London Negroni Week, at London’s finest bars until 10th June.
