Lovebox 2012 in Victoria Park was the talk of town. Of London’s summer music festivals, Lovebox can claim to be the most eclectic. Almost every variety of pop life is there, from rat-a-tat chat grime MCs to international superstars and techno DJs, keeping dancers’ feet moving well into the night. We went RUDE backstage with Toddla T, Shola Ama and Mox Live. We were chased in buggies, distracted posing fashionistas, while watching Crystal Castles and couldn’t stop staring at the car-street art plonked in the middle of the festival.

Backstage Paul’s Boutique was hosting a VIP lounge with Express Martinis to start, accompanied by assorted chips. A bespoke Paul’s Boutique designer salon was where we had a bespoke cargo jacket made with studs and our name!!! Artists were fighting over each-other and covering t-shirts, jackets and vests with lazer cut designs, smiley faces and multi-colored moustaches…Rather entertaining! And if this still wasn’t enough to keep a huge a grin on your face, then you could choose from stacks of books, have your make-up done with Benefit Cosmetics or relax and perch on a comfy seat, while your nails take on a new personality with WAH Nails .

After all this excitement, we cruised to the stage to see Toddla T and check out the booming crowd. It’s my second time at Lovebox and I like it more and more every year. It really is time of letting go and surround yourself by talent, friends and be inspired. I ventured into the mud to explore the rest of Victoria Park and discovered some amazing cars covered in art which I had to share!!! Rock on and make sure you SAVE THE DATE for next year.
