Following on from its debut last year, with the creation of ‘Krug Island’, the Krug Festival returns, and looks set to be even more magical.
This year, Krug is transporting its unique festival experience to the grand English wilderness, taking up residence in The Grange Estate in Hampshire, partnering with specialist music and online platform, Mahogany to create ‘Krug Festival – Into the Wild’. The event, taking place on Saturday 29th July, will be formed of musical performances accompanied by culinary delights from Francis Mallmann and unified by Krug Champagne, taking guests on an unforgettable journey of discovery.
The festival will be a rare chance to catch Francis Mallman, the legendary Argentine chef known for his avant-garde style of cookery, using large open fire pits to barbecue meat, veggies and anything else he can get his hands on. If you haven’t watched his episode on ‘Chefs Table’ on Netflix, then do. Francis will be creating a culinary adventure for guests, taking them across three sites where he will have been cooking food over flame for over seven hours.
At each site, guests will get the chance to listen to one of the brilliant musicians, each one carefully picked by Mahogany, the premium music and online platform responsible for discovering some of the most exciting music talent across the globe. They have invited three extraordinary talents to The Grange, each of whom will set the mood for the theatrical settings and Francis’s wild cooking – Ady Suleiman, JONES and Jacob Banks. Very importantly, Krug will be on hand to supply a range of their champagnes, again matched with the sounds and tastes being experienced.
Krug Festival – Into The Wild will encourage guests to immerse themselves in a diverse range of musical experiences, a sensory celebration of food and the finest champagne, set in one of England’s most magnificent heritage sites.
