This weekend marks National Margarita Day, an annual celebration to honour the iconic Mexican cocktail. To mark the occasion, Jose Cuervo, the oldest tequila in the world, will be hosting a pop up Mexican margarita bar at indoor street food night market Hawker House, on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd February.
The Jose Cuervo bar will be serving up authentic margaritas as only they know how, as well as launching the brand new Cuervo Frozen Margarita Machine, which will be making its debut at Hawker House before touring the UK at various events over the summer. As well as delicious frozen margaritas, the experts at Jose Cuervo will be offering a range of freshly prepared flavoured margaritas, from the classic Strawberry Margarita to the more adventurous Tamarind Margarita with Chilli Rim.
Alongside the Cuervo Margarita Bar, Hawker House revelers will be able to enjoy a line up of the UK’s top street food traders, all in a warm indoor setting. Traders on Friday 21st and Saturday 22nd February include taco legends Breddos Tacos, experts in fresh Asian cuisine Rainbo, BBQ heavyweights Hotbox and Kimchinary, a Korean twist on the classic Mexican burrito.
Starting at 5pm, with DJs playing your kind of soundtrack until midnight, Hawker House is the perfect place to get out of the rain and into the Mexican spirit of National Margarita Day.
