Forget the World Cup, The Robin Collective are bringing the world its newest ultimate sport; House of Toast.
What’s more, our toasty challenge will be combined with dancing, cocktails and our host premiere venue, the craft-mecca that is Drink, Shop & Do in Kings Cross on 10th July 2014.
Providing a soundtrack to the architectural toast night, and the winner’s circle dance party, will be DJ Jess Indeedy of Musical Bingo fame. Alongside the bread themed tunes will be toast themed cocktails, exclusively created by created by Drink, Shop & Do.
House of Toast throws participants’ teams against each other in a brilliant battle of building. Generous bread rations will be supplied to each team with a special souped-up toaster (each with its own wrestler-style stats, including Crumb Crusher 3000 and El Toastador.
Each team must nominate Toaster Wranglers, architects, and master builders, after designing their edifice in the first round. A mini quiz gives participants the chance to win better/extra building materials (like jam, cocktail sticks and marshmallow fluff). When the construction is complete, points will be awarded for height, grandeur, creativity and strength.
House of Toast champions will receive the highly sought after Golden Toast Trophy and everyone, winner or not, gets to scoff their creations and dance the night away.
Pundits predict House of Toast will mark the start of the next great British sport and is great for dates, birthdays, hens and budding builders.
We promise not to skimp on the toast puns, so crumb on down to the H.O.T.test new night in town!
