London’s favourite fast food, German eatery Herman Ze German, has been serving up the most sought after sausages across their three homes – Villiers Street, Old Compton Street and Charlotte Street for a few years now.
We headed over to check out their brand new dish Ze Bratmeister which keeps good company in an already impressive wurst menu – including tasty and healthy gluten & lactose-free Bratwurst, Chilli Beef and Bockwurst straight from the Black Forrest in Germany. There’s also ze Burger menu, tasty schnitzel dishes and their monthly rotating guest wurst. Lecker!
Ze Bratmeister is made with Herman’s signature Black Forrest Bratwurst, freshly roasted vegetables, aged feta as well as well as homemade veal gravy (made on site), as regulars we also ordered our favourite chips topped with delicious melted cheese – yummy!!
We washed the delicious new addition down with a Hugo (prosecco, elderflower and mint) and Apple and Elderflower Spritz cocktail (also new to the menu plus they’ve extended their beer menu) and enjoyed the tunes keeping us entertained in the background.
Having recently watched Netflix’s Stranger Things we have to say the basement bar, (Charlotte Street) where we enjoyed our wurst definitely has a retro vibe that is reminiscent of the 80s, so if you fancy a chilled hangout or are having withdrawals from the series, get some friends together, grab a wurst and beer (or cocktail) not to forget the cheesy chips and talk about season 2 (which can’t come soon enough).
Ze Bratmeister is available in all three locations.
