If you know us well enough, you’ll realise we’re big fans of retro restaurant Coin Laundry. Which is why we can’t wait for their latest canal side venture Heist Bank to open in Paddington. In an area with, lets face it, very little going on, it’s about time the interchange was given a spruce.
Heist Bank brings with it wood fired pizza, cold beer and fresh flowers (not a robbery in sight!). Using local cheeses, cured meats and seasonal toppings, pizza’s are freshly baked and can be paired with varying small plates including the mega tempting Cheese Curd & Olive Doughnuts, and lighter options like Watermelon with Labneh and Toasted Seed. Large dishes conceive bold flavour as Slow-Roast Lamb, Steak and Trout are all cooked in the wood fired oven.
The all-day hangout will welcome guests from noon to night with light and airy interiors that suit every time of day. Whilst graffiti artist Pure Evil‘s double height installation becomes a focal feature, the Thierry Noir canvasses adorning each wall take precedent too.
In house artisan florist, Botanique will adorn the space with fresh displays, all of which are available to purchase on site. And saving the best till’ last, there’s bikes stationed outside for guests to borrow and explore the area, what generous folk they are.
Heist Bank opens on 23rd June.
