Frieze London is returning to London this Wednesday 15th October for a four-day programme of eclectic art projects, talks, music and films.
The event gives us the chance to see contemporary art by over 1,000 of the world’s most prominent artists. For those looking to invest in something up-and-coming, Frieze gives you the chance to purchase artworks as well as admire them.
The fair includes ‘Frieze projects’, a series of artist commissions, and Frieze Talks, a line-up of stirring debates, lectures and panel discussions in the auditorium. This year, the Frieze magazine-curated programme explores topical, cultural subjects such as sexuality and public versus private identities. We’re particularly looking forward to author Jon Ronson’s insights into public shaming on Saturday afternoon.
This is the first time that ‘Live’ – a new section dedicated to performance-based installations – will be introduced to the proceedings. Supported by Alexander McQueen, this gives a platform for both re-worked and historical performances and entirely new pieces. These immersive experiences will take place throughout the fair.
Join us this week at London’s most exciting contemporary art event. There is still time to buy your tickets.
