ECO CLAPHAM HALLOWEEN EXTRAVAGANZA: Specialist Menu for One Night Only

ECO HAS GRAVE EXPECTATIONS THIS HALLOWEEN

Are you brave enough to sample the ghoulish grub on Eco’s spooktacular Halloween Menu this year?

Abandon hope – but not your taste buds – all ye who enter this Clapham culinary institution on 31st October where, for one night only, a three course menu will be casting its spell.

Those of a brave disposition can get things off to a heart-stopping start with either Hell Prawns – king prawns grilled in a coating of spicy red chilli and garlic – or Speared Buffalo and Heart – buffalo mozzarella, artichoke heart, asparagus spears, beef tomato, fresh basil and olive oil.

The fear factor rises considerably by the time it comes to the main course. Will diners opt for Pumpkin Slayer Salad – a platter of grilled pumpkin, goat’s cheese, grilled aubergine, zucchini, red pepper, artichoke heart, asparagus spears, fennel and puy lentils? Or is anyone brave enough to pig out on the Swine Killer’s Pizza, topped with such devilish delicacies as chorizo, black (death) pudding and pancetta?

The feast comes to a satisfyingly nail-biting climax courtesy of some Scarlet Fever (creamy panna cotta with raspberry purée) or Death by Nutty Chocolate, aka chocolate and hazelnut tart.

This fiendish feast is available from the far from blood-curdling sum of £18.00 per person. However, anyone who comes along dressed for the part will be rewarded with a naughty but nice surprise.

Eco, 162 Clapham High Street, London, SW4 7UG
