Celebrating Easter this year is going to need a little more thoughtful planning to make sure the holidays are still something to look forward to, whether it’s with your family, flatmates or in self-isolation. We’ve sourced some easy spring-time recipes, cocktail tutorials, instagram-live classes, chilled playlists and businesses who organise non-contact deliveries of baked goods, smoked salmon, fresh fruit, vegetables, plants & flowers straight to your door in London.
The Smokin’ Brothers
Sustainably-sourced salmon is cured with salt, and smoke, by the brother’s own admission nothing else is necessary making this family affair a no brainer for an indulgent treat this easter. Coupled with the fact that they are offering free delivery to Zones 1 and 2 in London and next-day delivery in the whole UK for only £5.
They have two options in their #WeStayHome special. For £28.00 you’ll receive two packs of 200g signature sashimi-style smoked salmon (in plastic free packaging) and £50 includes a bottle of Prosecco (Roccat 40 Lune) or Pinot Bianco (Visintini Bio).
Place your order at https://smokin-brothers.com/shop or contact Vicenzo on +44 7759843162.
This French bakery knows a thing or two about sweet treats and indulgent beauties like the Cronut®. As well as the usual range of seasonal specials, they have launched a fresh bread service, handmade pasta and sauces to cook at home as well as gift hampers. For Easter, four specials are on offer – the Berry Easter Egg (hand crafted with a combination of milk Valrhona Strawberry filled with mini caramel filled chocolate Valrhona eggs), Peep-a-Boos (dark chocolate egg, fluffy marshmallow and gooey salted caramel core), Hot Cross Buns and a special available until Easter Monday with all profits donated to support the work of @magicbreky, a brilliant charity who provide healthy breakfasts & support to over 48k schoolchildren who’d otherwise be too hungry to learn.
