As part of Chocolate Week 2013, we were treated to an evening of Tequila and chocolate at Central & Co with chocolate connoisseur Paul.A.Young and Cleo Rocos from Aqua Riva Tequila.
You may have walked past his Soho-based chocolate shop, gazing longingly into the window display, or seen Paul working his magic on Sunday Brunch and a host of other food based programmes but here was a chance to see up close and personal what he was capable of with our beloved coco bean. Pulling out great parings to compliment the exciting range of Tequilas on offer, it was a match made in heaven.
With a hands-on tutorial, Paul and Cleo treated guests to an Aqua Riva aperitif and cocoa bean-infused tequila, paired with Paul’s new Guavarita truffles. They provided top industry tips and shared interesting facts about the production of the products.
It was a unique evening held in the modern Central & Co in the heart of the West End, a chance to explore and enjoy the great pleasures that are chocolate and tequila.
