I love it when I randomly meet people who truly inspire me with their talents and passions, Mr Charlie Stocker is most certainly one of them. I am so excited to announce that he is now holding his first pop-up in London for two days and two days only on the 29th and 30th April in Clerkenwell.
Charlie Stocker is only 21 and already has a culinary CV that most chefs would die for. He has done small stages in the kitchens of The Ledbury, Fat Duck, Sketch among other Michelin restaurants in London.
His exceptional gastro skills have landed him the runner-up position for the ‘Essex Chef of The Year’ award as well as a quarter finalist spot on non other than MasterChef 2012.
He ran the small pastry section at the very busy ‘Rock Inn’ in Georgeham, North Devon, after which he continued at a small kitchen in Writtle, Essex.
Charlie is hugely passionate about foraging in a sustainable manner and sourcing local produce, he aims to include this in all of his unique menus.
He has gained local press attention about foraging and his pop-ups which are held at interesting venues – currently in a converted sailing loft in Tollesbury (The Loft), a dining car of a vintage train (at Chappel & Wakes Colne Platform 2) and a Vineyard (Mersea Island Vineyard).
Check out how good the menu looks, and it’s only £55 per head
