‘Tis the season to schnitzel and spritz! No, this isn’t the latest viral dance craze, this is just one of Boopshi’s fantastically Austrian pairings.
Sentimentally named after a term of endearment that Ed and Ben’s (the brothers behind Boopshi’s) Grandparents used for each other, the venue will be dishing up authentic Viennese schnitzels twinned with seasonal spritz cocktails.
Using traditional recipes pilfered from the diaries of their Austrian Grandma and Grandpa (that’s Oma & Opa to the Austrians amongst us), Ed and Ben Robson have created Boopshi’s.
The head chef and their close friend Rino Scalco will be using a variety of authentic Central European traditional techniques on only the finest British rose veal, free-range chicken and rare breed pork.
Alongside their signature schnitzel, Boopshi’s will offer an all encompassing menu with specialties including bratwurst sausage, Ox Tongue, spätzle & cheese and of course Oma’s coverted own recipie apple strudel.
Just like all vital liquids, Prosecco will be served on tap and behind the stick they will be offering a selection of bespoke as well as classic cocktails.
Paying homage to their Austrian heritage and combining their love for a well made spritz cocktail, they plan to bring their grandparents legacy to life and develop this very unique concept.
