A luxury asylum. A watch tower over all what’s hustle and bustle in central, Aqua promises sophisticated evenings with haute couture edibles and bespoke cocktails.
Past the big bloke on the door and take the lift to Aqua Kyto, where the epicurean conductor Paul Greening has conjured up The Experience Menu, which takes the tradition of kaiseki and serves it up in a fun way for a contemporary audience.
The kaiseki AKA banquet menu is the highest art-form that will ever pass your lips. Using the several courses to show off the chef’s pizzazz, flavour combos and personal technique.
Greening will being offering his finest signature dishes, to include some of the following: omakase sashimi, chef’s selected sashimi platter, green bean tempura, handpicked fresh nori, yuzu salt, gindara saikyo yaki yuzu tonburi, black cod with yuzu, cucumber, tonburi & Japanese herbs wagyu sumibi yaki, wagyu beef with soya garlic butter, egg tofu & nameko.
For just 45 of those shiny gold coins, or a quick flash of the plastic, the taste experience is yours and handily accompanied by a kyoto ume-shu cocktail.
