Whether you’re travelling to Seville for business or pleasure or something in between, the Barcelo Sevilla Renacimiento makes a great home for the duration of your stay.
A hotel of grand proportions, the building takes up a huge plot just a ten-minute drive outside the city of Seville. With two circular structures forming the base of the hotel, it’s got a modern, almost futuristic style to it and you could easily feel like you’ve walked onto the set of the latest James Bond movie.
The rooms are modern with clean lines and huge comfy beds which will ensure a good night’s rest while you’re there. The breakfast buffet will set you up for the day with a generous spread of hot and cold foods. An expert omelette-maker is on hand for your protein fix and the pastry stand will take care of your sweet tooth. If you’re feeling really indulgent then you can spend some time at the chocolate fountain dunking marshmallows and the more traditional Spanish churro. If you’re keeping it clean there is a range of fresh fruits, salad options and nuts as well as whole meal and rye breads. You could linger here for a while in the airy restaurant enjoying several courses as the atmosphere is so relaxed and pleasant.
Although it wasn’t quite warm enough during our visit, the pool looked extremely tempting and in hotter months, I would have definitely spent time lounging round it and dipping in for a refreshing swim. Alongside this there are also saunas, hot spas and high-spec changing rooms.
Their event spaces are expansive and the hotel is clearly well-versed in hosting smooth-running events of all kinds from weddings to large conferences. But the hotel attracts families holidaying in the area, young couples on a romantic break and business travellers there for work purposes as well as event guests.
The Barcelo hotel is a short cycle, long stroll or ten-minute taxi ride from Seville city centre where you can enjoy the vibrant tapas scene there alongside taking in the stunning architecture and cultural buildings in the city. But if you’re feeling like you don’t want to venture too far afield then there are two restaurants within the hotel serving modern European dishes that you can enjoy instead.
For a luxury, comfortable stay whilst in Seville, look no further than the Barcelo. It’s a great base from which to explore this exceptional city and a good night’s sleep is guaranteed.
